Delmon is an Army veteran with 20+ years in the Security industry. He has trained and led security teams for the top A- list nightclubs in Hollywood. He was trained and employed by two of the top Executive Protection firms in Los Angeles and has protected numerous A- list Celebrities, High net worth individuals and visiting Dignitaries. Delmon moved from Los Angeles to Texas in 2021 and trained in Armed Active shooter response to mitigate threats in Texas schools.

My advice to those new to firearms

If you are planning to spend your time and hard earned money on training make sure that the instructor you choose has the pre- requisite training AND experience in that area. If you want to know just ask them, if they have an issue giving you an answer then go elsewhere. In my experience most (not all) instructors in Texas have little to no real experience in Personal Protection or Active Shooting. I personally consider an instructor qualified if they have taken RESPECTED courses that they had to qualify for in order to be selected to participate in, coupled with personal / firsthand real world experience in that area. Just because someone was ex Law Enforcement or Military does not automatically mean they have BOTH training and experience in personal protection or Active shooter response.

Many "instructors" simply take a general How to be an instructor course then buy add on certifications that contain NO actual hands on training.

Please do your research, ask questions and make sure you feel comfortable with the instructors way of teaching.
